Patient Confidentiality

This play explores how readily we make assumptions about others based on social status and first impressions. Inspired by contemporary news stories, it examines how positions of power and authority can be misused when those assumptions go unchallenged. As perceptions shift, the audience is invited to question their own judgement, before a final twist turns everything on its head. The young female lead has the opportunity to perform a moving and challenging monologue, whilst the older supporting parts require the skills to create fully rounded and believable characters.
